Modular Construction encompasses any aspect of a building where elements of the building or project are constructed off site and brought to the site, pre-finished and then installed. Modular Construction has been held up as a cost saving measure; however the greatest benefit to Modular Construction comes from the highly controlled building process, resulting in high-quality, and consistency.
When workers are not forced outside in -20 degree weather to apply siding, or install windows strangely enough the quality increases! Not to mention the lower potential for injuries, minimal site disturbance and speed at which the modules can be installed. At Cobrell we have the facility to create wall sections or entire modules, have them shipped and then install them on site.
